I was a single-point-of-failure. There, I’ve gone and admitted it. And I’m apologizing for it, too. My failure to practice what we preach coupled with my tendency toward optimism (I’m not a glass half-full person. I’m a “my cup runneth over and I don’t mind if my hands get wet” kind of girl!) resulted in you not getting an issue of Drive last week. And I feel really bad about that.
I’ve been trying to keep it on the down low, but I guess it’s time to blow my own cover. I’ve been sick. That’s why I wasn’t at DRI2012 in New Orleans and it’s why I’ve not been doing my usual bopping about industry functions, trying to connect with all of you. The good news is that I’m on the mend. The not so good part is that it’s a long road and I still have really bad days sometimes. So, please accept my sincere apology for (literally) falling down on the job last week and know that I’ve got a very healthy back-up plan now!
Enough about that! Now on to this week’s Drive in which you’ll find a cool video from Pixar about how they nearly lost “Toy Story 2,” a very informative interview with DRI International’s very own Al Berman, survey results from last week, a new survey this time around, and other stuff too. Enjoy!
