Goodyear’s Mike Janko, Named to DRI Board

Congratulations are in order for Mike Janko, who has been named to the DRI International Board of Directors!
“I greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve on the DRI International Board of Directors and will work with all team members to maintain our standards of excellence, to continuously improve on programs and processes and to increase the value of certified business continuity professionals in all regions, sectors and organizations of all sizes,” Janko said.
Janko has over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of business continuity planning, including incident management, crisis communications, business impact analysis, disaster recovery and risk management. He is a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Business Continuity Lead Auditor (CBCLA) and Certified Engineering Operations Executive (CEOE), with a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently working as the Manager of Global Business Continuity for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He is responsible for strategic and tactical business continuity related activities for Goodyear’s global operations, which include 52 plants in 22 countries with some 69,000 associates, and annual sales of approximately $21 billion US.
