Alamo City Ghost Tours is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of the city’s best attractions — even voted one of USA Today’s 10 Best! Ghost hunters and history lovers alike will find the tour (which includes the Spanish Governor’s Mansion, pictured above) both chilling and informative. It’s also the only tour to offer ghost hunting equipment, like EMF readers and dowsing rods, for each participant!
If you want a more old-world approach to your ghost stories, try the Sisters Grimm Dinner and Ghost Tour, where you’ll enjoy a meal at the “most haunted hotel in San Antonio,” as tour guides in period dress regale diners with tales of the hotel’s ghosts. Then it’s off for a trip through the hotel, and a walking tour of the city’s known haunts.
Whichever tour you choose, just remember to pack some comfortable shoes, and a camera, just in case you spot an apparition!
