DRI-KL2016, DRI Malaysia’s recent regional event held in Kuala Lumpur on Aug. 23-24, has drawn the attention of multiple international news outlets, particularly remarks made there by Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Madius Tangau. Madius stressed the vital role BCM-certified professionals play in ensuring that businesses continue to operate in the event of a crisis or a disaster.
“Currently a total of 400 Malaysians are BCM certified professionals awarded by the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI International),” said Madius. “BCM has become a crucial subject for all industries, both public and private sectors to understand, plan, develop and implement essential steps to overcome any disasters.”
