DRI China Announces DRI-BJ2017 Conference for Asia in September

Globe East and Southeast AsiaDRI China has announced DRI BJ2017 for this coming September! The DRI Asia Conference is the bi-annual event of business continuity management in Asia. The goal is to provide an opportunity for local and regional BCM professionals to exchange information of technology evolution and trending, to discuss best practices and challenges, and to share experiences.

Tentatively scheduled for Sept. 21-22 in Beijing, this conference follows the first successful DRI Asia Conference in Beijing in 2015, Attendees will also hear successful stories, lessons learned, and BC/DR/ERM best practices and methodologies from oversea colleagues as well as BC/DR/ERM product vendors. And following DRI International’s announcement of the updated Professional Practices at DRI2017 last March, the Chinese version will be announced at DRI BJ2017. Also to be announced: the winners of the Awards of Excellence

This year’s conference theme is “Focusing on innovation and business continuity management during the economy transformation.” With the gradual implementation of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan and the strategic Belt and Road initiative paving globally, China’s enterprises and organizations are facing more complex challenges to be resilient along with the rapid changes in the political, economic and technological environment at home and abroad. In the new economy transformation era as the government defined, the active complexity factors of the challenges come from the integral and interacted large-scale collaborative manufacturing, supply chain and Internet-plus as well as different regulatory requirements and new standards. The conference will discuss, share and exchange the ideas and issues of business continuity management in the current China’s social and economic environment.
